Cameron Diaz Dad Dies

Cameron Diaz thanked her fans today for their support following the death this week of her father.
“My mom, sister and I are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time for us and all of our family,” the 35-year-old American actress said in a statement.
“My dad was loved by so many people and his humour and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”
No other details were released.
Diaz’ father, Emilio Diaz, had a small part in his daughter’s 1998 film There’s Something About Mary.
